Benjamin P. Sirutis, MD

Biography

Dr. Sirutis is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Board Eligible in Interventional Pain Management including multimodal pain management and minimally Invasive Spinal Procedures. He utilizes both minimally invasive surgical and non-surgical procedures for the treatment of chronic pain conditions of the neck, back, arms, legs and major joints. In addition, Dr. Sirutis has experience with multimodal pain control as well as regenerative treatments.

Dr. Sirutis grew up in Central Florida and completed his undergraduate training at University of Central Florida with a bachelor degree in micro and molecular biology. His Medical education was completed at Florida International University.

He then went on to complete his Intern year, residency, and fellowship training at Emory University in Atlanta. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and his Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine. During his training he furthered academic medicine with multiple conference presentations and publications.

His professional skills include: spinal injection procedures consisting of epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation and discography, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, minimally invasive disc decompression and spinal stenosis decompression, diagnostic injections, trigger points and comprehensive multimodal pain management. He is trained in the latest techniques in fluoroscopy and ultrasound guided pain procedures, and continues to pursue post graduate learning opportunities.

Dr. Sirutis lives in Fort Myers. His passions include running, cycling, and swimming. He enjoys time spent on the South Florida water and spends his weekends kayaking and surfing, or with his Family who continue to reside in Florida.
