Biography

Jessica Heffner, OTR/L, is a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in the treatment of upper extremity conditions. 

Jessica earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Keuka College in Upstate New York. Jessica completed advanced clinical training through the Hand to Shoulder Fellowship program further expanding her expertise in complex hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation. 

This fellowship builds on Jessica’s experience leading the development of an Outpatient Upper Extremity Clinic at the Syracuse VA Medical Center in New York, a role in which she provided specialized care to Veterans recovering from orthopedic trauma, neurological injuries, and surgical procedures.

Jessica’s professional background is deeply rooted in upper extremity rehabilitation, with additional experience across acute and subacute care, spinal cord injury, home health, and psychiatric settings. This diverse clinical foundation allows her to approach upper limb recovery with a comprehensive, whole-person perspective.

Jessica is a member of the Florida Occupational Therapy Association, American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT), and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
