Biography
Dr. Jason Watters is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee, hip, and shoulder replacement, as well as revision knee, hip, and shoulder replacement surgery. Dr. Watters has extensive experience with orthopedic trauma and sports medicine surgery and believes that all patients should thoroughly understand their joint problems and the treatments available, including surgical and non-surgical options.
Dr. Watters completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in chemistry at Indiana University Bloomington. He then completed his medical school education and residency training at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Watters has been serving the Naples community since October 2023.
Prior to moving to Naples, Dr. Watters practiced at Orthopedic Associates of Evansville, where he managed trauma cases at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. His career also includes significant leadership roles at Indiana University Health Physicians in Indianapolis, where he served as Chief of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Director of Adult Reconstruction at Eskenazi Health. Additionally, he was an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Associate Program Director at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Watters began his surgical career at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute after completing his residency at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Dr. Watters has a personal connection to Southwest Florida since his wife is from Naples. He is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care to his patients and making a meaningful difference in the local community he calls home.
When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and boating.
