Mary A. Ambach, M.D.

Dr. Ambach (formerly Tugaoen) is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine and Fellowship trained in Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine. She specializes in the diagnosis and nonsurgical treatment of painful conditions of the neck, back, arms, and legs.

Dr. Ambach was born and raised in the Philippines, where she completed her undergraduate and medical education. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology for which she graduated Cum Laude. She was a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Upon finishing medical school, Dr. Ambach completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency in Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana for which she was awarded a Certificate for Academic Achievement. She was also a contributing editor of Rehab in Review (Surveillance Journal for Rehabilitation Professionals) from 2005 to 2006.

Dr. Ambach went on to pursue an Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal fellowship in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Her professional skills include spinal injection procedures which include epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation and discography, interventional pain management, joint injections and electrodiagnostic (nerve and muscle) studies.
