Larry S. Eisenfeld, M.D. is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who has been in practice in Fort Myers since 1982. Dr. Eisenfeld attended medical school at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency. He moved to Fort Myers, Florida in 1982 where he has developed his practice over the years. Dr Eisenfeld is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Eisenfeld has served as President of the Medical Staff and Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. In the community, he is very active within the Jewish Federation of Lee and Charlotte County, having served as both President and Fundraising Chairman, as well as spending time on the Board of Directors. His son Mark, and daughter-in-law Michelle, are both physicians. His daughter Rachel is a stay at home mom, while her husband Joshua serves in the U.S. Navy on a Submarine. Dr Eisenfeld and his beautiful wife Terri live in Bonita Springs and have been married since 1972.
Dr. Eisenfelds main areas of interest are problems of the shoulders, hips and knees. His practice is currently non-surgical, but he is available to help you in whatever way he can. Dr. Eisenfelds years of experience, combined with his clinical and diagnostic skills help to determine if your problem is best treated clinically or surgically. If surgery is indicated, he will refer you to the appropriate surgeon to care for your problem; otherwise, there are various treatment options available at OCF to help you on your way to recovery.
